Emily graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Texas Woman’s University with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders. Emily’s experience includes working in public schools, private practice, and community based settings. She has experience diagnosing and treating disorders related to receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic language, articulation/phonological, apraxia, fluency, and pediatric feeding disorders. Emily has worked with infants, pre-school children, school-aged children, and young adults. Emily enjoys collaborating with patients and their families. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming care and education. She focuses on promoting regulation through the use of sensory strategies to improve communication.
Emily holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a member of the Texas Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (TSHA) and has completed the Inside Out Sensory Certificate Program for SLPs.
