Treatment
- Areas of Treatment: articulation, expressive language, receptive language, social – pragmatic language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing
Based on the results and outcomes of the evaluation, a treatment plan will be developed by the Speech Language Pathologist along with parent/caregiver input. A treatment plan consists of long-term and short-term goals, frequency of therapy, and home exercise plan. Treatment plans are individualized based on the patient’s evaluation.
Our therapists are highly qualified to work with children with communication and feeding/swallowing disorders. Our therapists use unique and creative ways to engage each child in therapy activities. Therapy goals are targeted using evidence based practice from the latest research to ensure each child is making progress to reach their highest potential. Each therapy session is individualized for the child’s specific needs and progress. Our therapists work hard to form a rapport with each child and parent/caregivers so everyone looks forward to their time together.
